Rick is the President and a Partner of The Martec Group and leads the firm’s specialty chemical/materials practice. He has nearly 40 years’ experience in the market research consulting field working with numerous Fortune 1000 strategic clients and many lower middle, middle and large fund PE firms. Rick enjoys diving into niche, complicated segments within the specialty materials space across a number of end-use industries, including managing the engagements as well as extracting and analyzing the informational inputs.

Rick is a graduate of Yale University and holds a B.S. degree in Biology and has also earned an MBA from the University of Michigan. Rick loves spending time with his family, traveling, playing squash, sailing and trying to become a better gardener.
